You can use the control panel to find your wifi saved password in your Windows 10 computer in a matter of a few minutes.
To do so…
Open up your start menu (click on that tiny Windows button on the bottom left).
And then you will see a small search box.
In the search box type in
You will see a file appear under the description “Control panel item” and you left click on that.
After that, you will see a new tab open up.
Then you will see various Ethernet options and you clearly see one option which says “Wi-Fi” and it has your wifi connection’s name underneath it.
So you double-click on the Wi-Fi option. And it will open up a new tab under the name “Wi-Fi Status”
Then you will see this option named as “wireless properties” and you click on that.
You will then see another tab open up.
Up there you will see a small option named as “Security” on the top and you left click on that option.
After that, you simply tick the checkbox beside “Show characters”.
And you will see your saved wifi password appear…
Or Either Way, You Can Use This Software To Find Your Saved Wifi Password
There is wifi password restoration software known as “WirelessKeyView” developed by this company named “Nirsoft”.
Which will basically help you recover your saved wifi password in a matter of a few minutes.
After installing this software you may delete it or Either way, keep it in case you need it for future purposes.

Firstly download the software. You can do it by clicking on this link here.
It will probably come in a zip file. So you can unzip it by using this software known as Winrar.
After you unzip it. Go into the folder and you will see this file named as “WirelessKeyView”, the one with a file type as “Application”.
Right click on that file and click on “Run as administrator”.
Then it will open the application.
And then you will see your wifi name under the table “Network Name (SSID)” and your saved wifi password under the table “Key (Ascii)”.

You can also try using the command prompt as well (Simple Method)
Another easy way to find your saved wifi password is to use the command prompt.
You may implement this method with the following steps…
Firstly go to start (click on that tiny windows icon on the bottom left).
And then type in “cmd” on the search box.
Then you will see a new application under the name “Command Prompt” with the description “Desktop app” appear. So you left click on that and you will open up a new tab.
Then you type the following command into the command prompt
netsh wlan show profiles
After that press enter on your keyboard. And then you will see all the wifi networks which you opted into before under the “User Profiles” section.
Then you type the following code
netsh wlan show profiles “your wifi connection name”
And then press enter
So you simply put in the name of the name of your wifi connection in that section instead of “Your wifi connection name”.
For instance, the name of my wifi connection is “Qwert”. So I put in the following:
netsh wlan show profiles Qwert
After that, you press enter…
And then type this last command:
netsh wlan show profiles “Your wifi connection” key=clear
And then press enter…
After that, you will see your saved wifi password appear under “Security setting” on the “key Content” line.
Reset Your Router To Find Your Saved Wifi Password
Well, resetting your router is another way to find your wifi password.
But, it’s a bit more time consuming than the other methods which we have mentioned above…
Either way, if you wanna try resetting your router, you may go through this path step-by-step.
Firstly, you unplug your Ethernet adapter from your router.
Then you check the back side of your router. You will either see a tiny hole or a button which you can press labeled as “reset”.
So you either press it if it’s a button or insert a small safety pin or anything that is pointy into the tiny hole (for like a minute or so)…
Then you will see all your lights in the router light up.
Then you will have to search for your log in details. Like a specific username and a password with a link to your manufacturer’s website which comes with the packaging.
You can either find the initial box which came with the packaging or either way, you might see it written on your router itself.
Then go to the IP address to a specific website. (It varies from router to router) mentioned in the packing.
You opt-in your login details. And successfully enter the website.
Then you go to the “Wireless” section inside the website where you can configure your new wifi password.
You can either set it a new name or a password.
